120
When I am in trouble I call upon the Divine Presence within;
when I called out for help I was answered by the Divine.
I cried, "Deliver me, my Beloved, from lying lips,
and from the deceitful tongue of my wrong memories."
How easily I remember who has wronged me;
how quickly I forget those I have wronged.
I have spoken with the sharpened arrows of a warrior;
and my lips have been like burning coals.
How often I have missed the mark;
how many times have I slipped?
Too long I have had to live
among these enemies of peace.
I say I am on the side of peace
but sometimes I act as if I want war.
121
I lift up my eyes to the hills
from whence cometh my help.
My help comes from the Divine;
Maker of heaven and earth.
The Divine Presence knows what is best;
watches over me and does not sleep.
Behold the Divine Presence that watches over us all
it shall neither slumber nor sleep; is always at hand.
This Beloved Presence watches over you
is as close as the shadow of your right hand.
You are blessed with the sun by day
and by the moon at night; what can you fear?
The Divine raises you up when you stumble;
and gives understanding for your short-comings.
The Beloved Presence watches over your coming in and going out
from beyond your birth into the beyond of your death.
122
I was glad when they said to me,
"Let us go to a sacred place."
Now our feet stand bare
at the gate of the Divine.
The place is as powerful as a city
that is at unity within itself.
Here the tribes have come seeking the Divine;
here they assembled in the Presence of the All.
Here are the gates to the Most Holy;
here are the thrones of the Beloved.
Pray for the peace for all peoples;
may all prosper within this love.
Peace be within your walls;
quietness within your towers.
For my brethren and companion's sake;
I pray for their prosperity with joy.
Here in the house of the Beloved Divine
I will seek only for the Highest Good for all.
123
To you I lift my eyes, oh Most High
as if you are enthroned in the heavens.
As the eyes of the daughter look at a mother;
as the face of a son turns toward a father,
So our eyes turn toward the Divine Presence;
the Divine Beloved who is even closer than that.
With our breath we touch the Divine;
when we exhale we bless the earth.
Here we are needed; here we are seeded,
our very being is a tower of flowers for the world.
124
If the Divine Presence is on our side,
why do things go awry and away?
What is this part of me that refuses to speak?
What is this part of me that refuses to listen?
How to change the patterns of my guts
to see anew the ways of the Divine?
Why are good intentions swallowed up alive;
and fierce anger swings over toward me?
Why have waters overwhelmed me
and the torrents gone over me with raging?
Give me the insight to see how I hobble myself;
how my ideas of the way the world works are amiss.
Let me see myself in abundance and happiness;
good health and work for my daily hands.
My help comes from the Divine Presence;
the Maker of heaven and earth.
125
Those who trust in the Divine Presence are like high mountains;
rising up in the sky until they lean against the gates of heaven.
The hills of strength stand around us
like the Beloved Presence of the Divine.
The scepter of the unfaithful shall not hold sway
over the land allotted to those who believe in the Divine.
The Beloved showers good on all;
but peace comes only to those who
have entered their hearts with thanksgiving.
For those who followed crooked ways
have far to go to find the Divine.
But those who go straight to the Divine
shall rejoice and be glad.
126
When the Divine Beloved rules us;
we are those who dream great dreams.
Then are our mouths filled with laughter;
and our tongues curl with shouts of joy.
Without saying a word people will see,
the Divine works within those persons.
The Divine does great things for us,
and we are glad indeed forever.
Thank you for restoring our fortunes, oh Divine Presence,
so our lives are like the watercourse of a wide river.
Those who sowed with tears
will reap with songs of joy.
Those who go out with prayers carrying the seed,
will come again with joy, shouldering the sheaves.
127
Unless a house is blessed by the Divine,
the labor of the many hands is in vain.
Unless the Divine watches over the city;
in vain the watchman keeps his vigil.
Without peace in your heart you rise early
and go to bed late all in vain.
In vain you eat the bread of your toil
if you are not given a good night's sleep.
Children are the heritage of the Divine,
and the fruit of the womb is a gift.
Like arrows shot from the bow of your body
are the children of one's youth.
Happy are the parents who have a quiver full of them!
they shall see that their lives were not lived in vain.
128
Happy are those who love the Divine;
who seek the Divine in every thing.
You shall eat the fruit of your labor
happiness and prosperity shall be yours.
Your wife shall be like a fruitful vine within your house;
and your children like olive shoots around your table.
The parents who love the Divine Presence
shall thus indeed be very blessed.
The Divine wishes to bless you from birth;
and seeks to give you prosperity all your life.
May you live to see your children's children;
and may peace reign within your houses.
129
Remember the oppressions of your youth,
only to understand and reshape them.
Do not be a victim of your own past,
but turn oppression into knowledge.
The plowman may have ploughed your back;
made their furrows long and deep.
Yet you have survived to think anew
of and about these bygone events.
Let the Divine Presence, the Righteous One
cut the cords tying to you to past cruelties.
Free yourself from the repression of your past;
embrace it, accept it and then let it go.
Let it be like grass upon the housetops
which withers before it can be plucked.
Which does not fill the hand of the reaper
nor the bosom of one who binds the sheaves.
Make room for abundance so you may prosper;
that all wish you well in the name of the Divine.
130
In the depths of my despair I cry out to a Higher Power;
yet all the parts of this Higher Power are within myself.
In my bones are the stones that the Creator
still makes rise up out of the seas as lava.
In my blood are the seas that the Creator
surrounds all the bodies of earth.
Lightning scribbles across the storm-dark skies
just as it snaps and crackles within me.
Gases of the atmosphere combine
within my nose for my breath.
The woody cells of plants give themselves;
my nourishment for flesh and muscles.
With my imagination I touch creation
small, yes!, but related closely to God.
How can I feel apart from the Higher Power
when every atom of my being was made by the Divine?
My soul longs for the Presence of the Divine
more than a watchman waiting for the morning.
131
When I observe the universe;
I see how very small I am.
I do not occupy myself with great matters
nor with things that are too hard for me.
But I still my soul and make it quiet
like a child upon its mother's breast;
my soul is quieted within me.
The land and all upon it belongs to the Divine,
from this time forth for evermore.
132
When we endure hardships;
let us remember the Divine.
How the earth was created in perfection;
how the heavens curve over in protection.
Therefore let us take a vow;
swear an oath of dedication:
"I will not come under the roof of my house,
nor climb into the comfort of my bed;
I will not allow my eyes to sleep
nor let my eyelids close in slumber,
Until I acknowledge the places
the dwelling places of the Divine."
Some say it is in the Ark in the East;
some say it is in the bundles of the South,
Some say it is in the caves of the West,
or the wild places of the North.
But all creation is the resting place of the Divine;
let us fall upon our knees before its footstool.
Arise, Divine Presence, dwell in your resting places;
you and the vessels of your strength.
For your child's sake, do not turn your face away;
do not turn away from the result of your creation.
The Divine has given us its Holy Word;
has spoken to us of a Holy Work.
"A child, the fruit of your body,
will I set upon the throne of life.
Your children are my covenant with you
and my testimonies shall you teach them."
Even the smallest child is a messenger;
a mass singer from the Divine who says:
"This shall be my resting place for ever;
here I will dwell because I am delighted.
I will bless this child with provisions,
I will satisfy it with the best breads.
I will cloth it with the colors of dawn
and the parents will rejoice and sing.
I will make the horns of the men to flourish
and will prepare a lamp for my anointed.
Shame shall disappear in a flash
and all crowns will shine forth."
133
Oh, how good and pleasant it is,
when brethren live together in unity!
It is like fine oil upon the head
that runs down the beard.
As upon the beards of our forefathers,
that ran down into the collar of their robes.
It is like the dew of the coastal meadows
that falls upon the headlands of the sea.
For there the Divine has ordained a blessing:
that there shall be life and living for evermore.
134
Behold now, all you who love the Presence of the Divine;
you who stand by night in the houses of worship of the Divine.
Lift up your hands in the holy place and bless the Divine;
the One who made heaven and earth blesses you.
135
Hallelujah! Praise the names of the Divine;
give praise all you who know the Divine.
You who stand in the houses of worship,
in the courtyards of the holy temples.
Praise the Divine for the Divine is our good;
sing praises to a Holy Name, for it is lovely.
For I know this Presence is our house and home
and all Holy Names speak of this Supreme Divinity.
It is the Divine that pleases to make heaven and earth;
this is the Power that makes the seas and the deeps.
It brings up clouds from the ends of the earth;
to send out lightning with the rains
and winds from the storehouses on high.
It is the Divine that blesses the unborn with life;
the unborn of both humans and all the beasts.
The flower that blooms only one day;
is likewise a messenger of the Divine.
The land is our inheritance
that we give to our children.
Oh Divine Presence your power is everlasting,
your renown endures from age to age.
For from the example of the Divine
do we learn the lessons of compassion.
Do not despise those who create idols;
those who bow before silver and gold.
Though figures have mouths and speak not;
though they have ears without hearing,
Imbued with power they focus the energy;
a thread that leads to the spirit of the Divine.
But your lips, your living and alive lips
speaking the words of your dear hearts,
Your ears listening to the sounds above the sounds;
the openness of your spirits; these touch the Divine.
Whatever turns your soul to the Most Holy
takes on the holiness you were given at your birth.
You cannot lay this aside or turn away from it;
holiness abides with you even beyond the grave.
Sing praises to the Divine for such marvels;
lift up your hearts with a Hallelujah!
136
Give thanks to the Divine
for this mercy endures forever.
Give thanks to the spirit of each Divine Thing;
for this mercy endures into all ages.
Give thanks to the majesty of the Divine;
for this mercy shall never abandon us.
The One who does great wonders;
is this mercy that endures for ever.
The One whose wisdom made the heavens,
for this, mercy endures for ever.
The One who spread out the earth on the waters,
for this, mercy endures for ever.
The One who created great lights,
for this, mercy endures for ever.
The sun to rule by day,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The moon and stars to govern the night,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who gives life to the unborn,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who loved our ancestors,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who gave them the miracle of life,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who showed them the miracle of love,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who went with our forbearers,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who lead them out of the wilderness,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who delivered them from tribulations,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who inspired them to new ideas,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who watched their experiments,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who gave them courage to try again,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who guided their hands toward living,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who placed their feet on paths,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who revealed the majesty of morning,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who taught the safety of the night,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who joined hearts in compassion,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who taught tribal living,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who gave us reason and passion,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who lets us decide,
for this mercy endures for ever.
The One who knows us when we are low,
for this mercy endures for ever.
And delivers us from our own harm,
for this mercy endures for ever.
Who gives food to all creatures
for this mercy endures for ever.
Give thanks to the Divine Presence
for this mercy endures for ever.
137
By the waters of strange rivers we sat down to weep;
when we remembered our original homes.
As for our harps, we hung them up
on the trees in the midst of that land.
For those who led us away as captives
asked for our songs with their mirth.
"Sing for us the songs of your homeland."
how could we sing on an alien soil?
If I forget the land of my birth,
let my right hand forget its skill.
Let my tongue cleave to the roof of my mouth,
if I fail to remember the land of my birth.
I remember the days of my childhood;
the people of my clan and village,
Who said to me, "Welcome child of this earth."
happy were the times in their circles.
Happy were the times when we were saved
from being dashed on a rock by our omissions.
138
I will give thanks to you, O Beloved, with my whole heart;
before all peoples will I sing praises to all your Names.
I will bow down toward your holy temple
and praise your Names with love and faithfulness.
For you have given all Names glory;
and your word is above all things.
When I call to you, you are there;
you increased my strength within me.
All the peoples of the earth will praise you,
when they see the wonders of your creation.
They will sing of the ways of the Divine,
that great is the glory of the Divine Presence.
Though the Divine is our Most High;
care is shown even to the most lowly.
When I walk in the midst of trouble;
I will be kept safe by compassion.
The Divine will make good its purpose for me;
Oh Divine, your love endures forever.
Do not abandon this work of your hands.
139
Beloved, you have searched me out and have known me;
you know my sitting down and my rising up;
you discern my thoughts from afar.
You trace my journeys and my resting places,
and are acquainted with all my ways.
Indeed, there is not a word on my lips,
but you, Oh Beloved, know it altogether.
You press upon me behind and before
and lay your hand upon me.
Such knowledge is too wonderful for me;
it is so high that I cannot attain to it.
Where can I go then from your Spirit?
where can I flee from your Presence?
If I climb to the heaven, you are there;
if I make the grave my bed; you are there also.
If I take the wings of the morning,
and go to the uttermost parts of the sea,
Even there your hand will lead me
and your right hand hold me fast.
If I say, "Surely the darkness will cover me,
and the light around me turn to night,"
Darkness is not dark to you;
the night is as bright as the day;
light and dark are to you both alike.
For you yourself created my inmost parts;
you knit me together in my mother's womb.
I will thank you because I am marvelously made;
your works are wonderful and I know it well.
My body was not hidden from you,
while I was being made in secret
and woven in the depths of the earth.
Your eyes beheld my limbs, yet unfinished in the womb;
all of them were described in your book.
They were fashioned day by day
when as yet there was none of them.
How deep I find your thoughts, Oh Divine!
how great is the sum of them!
If I were to count them they would be more in number than the sand;
to count them all, my life span would need to be like yours.
Oh that you would forgive me when I miss the mark;
that you would view my shortcomings with compassion.
If my tongue speaks against you in a moment of panic;
cleanse me from the patterns that rise up in haste or fear.
Search me out, Oh Beloved, and know my heart;
try me and know my restless thoughts.
Look well whether there be any lacking in me
and lead me in the ways that are everlasting.
140
Deliver me, Oh Beloved, from my worthless thoughts;
protect me from the violence I do toward my own self.
Point out to me those beliefs and patterns my body holds
which slay my goodness and feed upon my goodwill.
Teach me respect for myself, when I am strong
and in those times when strength fails me.
Keep me from repeating old ways that are harmful;
enlighten me with the truth of beauty and righteousness.
Show me the Oneness of all things;
all thoughts and feelings coming together.
Gather around me those who guide my steps
to greater compassion and understanding.
Help me to recognize things and persons
who sap my strength without giving a blessing.
Bend my thoughts to your might and marvels
when I am filled with doubt and misgivings.
When I am lost and hesitant to know where to go,
nudge me in the direction that is best for me.
Let me end all my prayers with: "Thy Will be done."
as I accept that which is best for all concerned.
Surely the righteous will give thanks to your Name,
and the upright shall continue to know your Presence.
141
Oh my Beloved, you are the strength of my joyfulness;
you cover my body with the light of the Morning Star.
Let my desires be dedicated to your worship;
let my plans be for your magnification.
Let those surround me lift up their heads;
let the flowers of their lips overwhelm them.
Let the blessings of rain fall upon them;
let the sparkle of new life be revealed.
May all our words be in praise of the Most High;
may our praise come from our deepest parts.
I know that the Beloved feels the cause of the poor
and will render help to those ask in supplication.
Surely the righteous will give thanks to your Name,
and the faithful will continue in your sight.
141 - II
Oh Beloved, I call to you; come to me quickly;
hear my voice when I cry out for you.
Let my prayer be in your sight as incense,
the lifting of my hands as evening sacrifice.
Set a watch before my mouth, Beloved,
to guard the door of my lips;
let my heart not dwell on any harmful thing.
Let me not be occupied in wickedness
or with the actions of wrongdoers.
Let the righteous smite me in friendly rebuke;
may I understand the slightest guidance.
Let our rulers rise up from stony places;
and that we know which of their words are true.
When a ploughman turns over the earth in furrows;
may we feel in passion the holiness of this act.
My eyes are turned to my Beloved,
in which I take refuge;
add to the lust of my life.
Protect me from the snares I lay for myself
and from the traps of my past ways of thinking.
Let all my shortcomings fade as stars at dawn;
my praise rise up as the clear day sun.
142
I cry to my Beloved with a trembling voice;
to the Beloved I make my supplications.
I pour out my complaints like a fountain;
and enumerate my troubles one by one.
When my spirit languishes within me, you know my path;
in the way wherein I walk you have hidden my salvation.
When I look to my right hand and find no one who knows me;
when I feel I have no place to flee to, and no one cares for me,
I cry out to my Beloved saying:
"You are the refuge I seek;
you are my portion of life.
Listen to my cry for help, for I have been brought low;
save me from the thoughts that pursue, they are so strong.
Bring me out of the prison of my habits, my thinking;
that I may give thanks to your Holy Name.
Because you have dealt bountifully with me,
the righteous will gather around me a circle.
143
Divine Presence, I come before you in prayer;
may my supplications be a faithfulness to you;
my righteousness as answer to your blessings.
Remind me not to enter into judgment;
that all is blessed in your spacious sight.
Let me remember that everything wishes to live;
even the scorpion crushed against the ground
struggles to have another second of living.
Sometimes my spirit faints within me;
when my heart within me is desolate.
I remember the times past;
I muse upon all your deeds;
I consider the works of your hands.
I spread out my arms to you;
my soul gasps to you like a thirsty land.
Oh Beloved, make haste to come to me; my spirit fails me.
Do not hide your face from me or I shall know too much darkness.
Let me hear of your loving kindness in the morning
for I put my trust in you;
show me the road that I must walk,
for I lift up my soul to you.
Deliver me from my fears, Oh Most High;
help me to understand from whence they come.
Teach me to do that which is for the Highest Good;
let your blessed Spirit lead me on level ground.
Revive me, Oh Most High, for I am sinking;
for the sake of this life, bring me out of trouble.
Out of your goodness take me in your care;
and bring all my fears to be naught;
for part of me is part of you.
144
Blessed be the Divine Presence my example
who trains my hands for nurturing
and my fingers for healing touch.
My help and my guide,
the healer and giver of life;
the power in which I trust.
Oh Beloved, what are we that you should care for us?
mere mortals that you think of us?
We are like a puff of wind;
our days like a passing shadow.
You endure as the heavens bowed down
to touch the mountains even as they smoke.
You hurl the lightning and scatter the clouds;
you shoot out your arrows and give new life.
You stretch out a hand from on high;
to rescue me from my own self.
Oh Beloved, I will sing to you a new song;
I will play to you on a ten-stringed lyre.
You give humility within victory;
and joy in the midst of sadness.
Save us from the swords of our disbelief;
arm us with the shield of compassion.
May our sons be like plants nurtured from their youth;
and our daughters sculptured corners of a palace.
May our barns be filled to overflowing with all kinds of crops;
may the flocks of our pastures increases by thousands,
and tens of thousands,
may our cattle be fat and sleek.
May there be no breaching of walls, no going into exile,
no wailing at the stones in the public squares.
Happy are the people of whom this is so!
happy are the people whose faith is in the Divine.
145
I will exult the Divine Presence within all;
and bless the name of the Beloved forever.
Every day will I raise blessings
and praise for the names of compassion.
Great is the Divine Presence and greatly to be praised;
there is no end to this wondrous greatness.
One generation shall praise your works to another,
and shall declare the glory of your power.
I will ponder the glorious splendor of your majesty
in all of your marvelous works.
Our children shall speak of your wondrous acts
and I will tell them of your greatness.
They shall publish the remembrance of your great goodness
and they shall sing of your righteous deeds.
The Divine is gracious and full of compassion;
without anger and filled with great kindness.
The Divine Presence gives love to everyone;
and compassion is like a fragrance in all acts.
All of your works are like a praise to you,
and your faithful followers bless you.
They make known the glory of your kingdom
and speak lovingly of your power.
That the peoples may know of your power
and the glorious splendor of your kingdom.
The Divine is above faith and words;
and is merciful in all deeds.
The Divine upholds those who fall;
lifts up those who are bowed down.
The eyes of all wait upon the Divine Presence
which gives them food in due season.
A great basket is opened wide
and the needs of every thing are satisfied.
The Divine is righteous in all ways
and shows might in all works.
The Divine is closer than any friend,
mother, brother or lover.
The Divine preserves all; casting out nothing;
thus we are ever in the folds of the Divine Presence.
My mouth shall speak praise of the Divine;
let all flesh bless this holy Name forever and ever.
146
Hallelujah! My soul is the praise of the Divine;
my life is filled with the splendor of the Divine.
My highest thought always contains joy;
the clearest words hide the truth;
the grandest feeling is full of passion.
Where my passion lies;
there I will go with gladness.
What more proof do I need
of rightfulness and destiny?
Look at my fingerprints;
what could be more special?
Feel my breath;
what could be more holy?
Watch the work of my hands;
what could be more dedicated?
Follow my footprints across the land:
what could be more sacred?
I will judge not, and neither condemn;
for I know not why something occurs
or to what end.
Whether I approve or not;
everything remains and is sacred.
I can only be still by quieting the outer world;
to observe the view of myself from inside.
If I do not go within;
I go without.
The Divine lets each soul walk its own path;
I know I have chosen all that is in my life.
The Divine Presence shall reign for ever;
the Beloved Divine shall be in all generations.
Hallelujah!
147
Hallelujah!
How good it is to sing praises to the Divine!
how pleasant to give honor with our praise.
The Divine rebuilds the earth daily;
and gathers up the pieces for new life.
The Divine heals the brokenhearted;
and binds up the wounds of the flesh.
The Divine counts the number of the stars;
and calls them by their names.
Great is the Divine and mighty in power;
there is no limit to this wisdom.
Sing to the Divine with thanksgiving;
make music to the Beloved upon the harp.
The Divine covers the heavens with clouds
and prepares rain for the thirsty earth.
The Divine Presence is grass upon the mountains;
in the green plants that give themselves to humankind.
The Divine provides food for flocks and herds;
and for the young ravens when they cry.
The Divine delights in the power of horses
and shares pleasure in the strength of humans.
The Divine is beyond pleasure;
compassion fills the whole universe.
Worship the Divine with your words;
praise the Divine with your actions.
For the Divine opens the gates of your hearts;
and then blesses the children within you.
In your peace the Divine establishes joy;
in your center the Divine spins a pulse.
In your striving the Divine comes clearer to you;
in your appreciation the Divine is manifest.
In every situation I will choose only love;
the reality given by the Divine is mine.
It is spoken in the river's seasons;
whispered by the wind in its roaring.
It is given in snow like wool;
in hoarfrost like ashes.
In hail like bread crumbs;
who can understand cold?
The Divine sends forth a word and melts them;
the spring comes and the waters flow again.
We are the fingerprints of the Divine;
all marvelously formed and different
As the snowflakes or flowers of the hills;
we come and go within the Divine.
148
Hallelujah!
Praise the Divine on the mountains;
proclaim blessings from high places.
Praise the Divine, all you angels;
praise the Most High all you hosts.
Praise the Divine, sun and moon;
praise, praise praise all you stars.
Praise the Divine heaven of heavens,
and you waters above the heavens.
Let them praise the Names of the Divine
with the sound of their coming and going.
May these marvels endure forever;
may the compassion of the Divine be mine.
Praise the Divine from the earth;
you sea monsters and all the deeps.
Fire and ice, snow and fog;
tempestuous wind, doing the Divine.
Mountains and all hills;
fruit trees and all cedars;
Wild beasts and all cattle
creeping things and winged birds;
Kings of the earth and all peoples;
princes and all rulers of the world.
Young men and maidens;
the young and old together,
Let them give praise to the Creator
for this Name is exulted in splendor
across all the galaxies and universes.
Come with thanksgiving that we are chosen
to join the Divine in this grand pageant.
Hallelujah!
149
Hallelujah!
Sing to the Divine a new song;
sing praises among the faithful.
Let everyone rejoice in the Maker
let the children know of this compassion.
Let them praise the Divine with dance;
let them sing praises with tumbrel and harp.
Let the faithful rejoice in triumph;
let them rejoice on their beds.
Let the praises of God be in their throats;
and the mover of their hands.
May compassion spill out across the world;
as a blessing on all peoples and creatures.
May this flood begin within me;
from my heart to my heart.
And from the joy of this release;
peace spread in widening ripples.
In us the Divine knows itself;
in the Divine we find ourselves.
Hallelujah!
150
Hallelujah!
Praise the Divine in your holy temples;
praise with blessings in every breath.
Praise the Divine for mighty acts;
give praise for excellent greatness.
Praise the Divine with a blast of the ram's horn;
give praise with the lyre and harp.
Praise the Divine with tumbrel and dance;
praise again with strings and pipe.
Praise the Divine with resounding cymbals;
praise with the pulse of your drums.
Let everything that has breath
praise the Divine.
Hallelujah!
